Transfer Case for 81 cj 5

Im not sure what its called but it is the stock transfer case for a 81 cj 5 with Front dana 30 and rear AMC 20. Preferably one i could bolt in with minimal work needing to be done to it.

My brother blew his up to a point where its just trash now. Also he needs a dana 30 front. the axle housings are OK but the "pig" is gone.

Either a D300 or a Dana 20.

i have a dana 300 out of an 82 cj7. $150

80 they changed to the dana 300. pre 80 was the dana 20. what tranny does it have 4 or 5 speed? t-4, t-5, 176, 177, 178 all have same output shaft n use dana 300. pre80 had different ooutput n used dana 20

its a 4 speed. Is it basicly ready to be bolted up?

yeap took out to put one in that had a lomax kit put in. so nothing wrong ready to go

nope gone. never heard back held it till that weekend and the other guy showed w/ money. sorry, i keep my eyes open
