Yup, I made the same comment to her "awww, honey, he's crossed eyed and drooling, just like his momma". She didn't think it was as funny as I did :D

Congrats Rick! Savor every minute with them. They grow fast. I can't believe mine are already turning 4 and 1.

The sleep deprivation doesn't last long. Look at is as being able to spend that much more time with your child. You'll miss it one day.......

Thanks to all for the thoughts and prayers:thumb:

I like that train of thought Howery... the sleepless nights are a good bonding time when it's just me and him.

I wouldn't say his life as he knew it is over. I still have my friends, my Jeep, both my Camaros. I still go shooting, hiking, wheeling, and all that. My life is pretty much the same. I just have a side kick now!

...that is awesome. It changes all your priorities but all for the good.
He will be your best friend.Just having kids allows the parents to be kids again and re-experience all the cool stuff we did when were that age.Plus you can justify extra Jeep purchases by saying you are buying that project CJ-2A for your son.:) It worked for me on a couple purchases!:yup:

Congrats on being a new Dad.:2thumbsup:

That's awesome man! Having kids is great. They are a lot like a 4x4 too. Something that can bring you great joy and have tons of fun with but will frustrate the hell out of too.
Congrats Man :2thumbsup:

I guess I am the only one on here who has a kid over the age of 21 and I can say is this all too true! The older they get the worse it gets!

My dad told me one time when I was holding my oldest boy as a baby, he said " Son, little boys are like little puppy Rottweilers, they are cute and cuddly when they are little but you better show him who the boss is before he gets all grown up or he will show you!"

This is very good advice that I still try to live by but they are all 3 wearing me down at one time!
