i need to find a 231 to swap in to my zj asap.if it already has a sye thats even better.let me know what you have.

Yep should be 23 spline if it's for your zj.

im gonna run by the junkyard maybe tomorrow and might pick up a 231 from i think a 98 or 99 xj.i'll get some pics sometime soon to explain things

There is a 23 spline 231 on novajeepers forum, with sye listed for $400. If it is still available.

just checked on novajeepers,that one for 400 was sold.thanks for mentioning that though.pmed earthman.plan on going by the jy tomorrow and checking out what they have.

the gear cut change was in 94-95 models.yours has a good chance of being a different gear cut
