My rustys crap shocks are gone. Dont ever by rustys shocks they are junk. But anyway. I think i wasnt ot get new coils to. i have 2 inch rustys springs and 3/4 pucks for 3 inchs of lift. OME jsut came out with a JK lift thats 3 inchs you get 4 springs and 4 shocks for 600 bucks basicly. How do you all feel about there stuff cause i like the price. And i read how good the shocks are.

OME is known for suspension systems, not lift kits. They have a very good reputation for good riding stuff.
Although I would keep your springs because there is nothing wrong with them. Then call radflo or bilstein and get some good ones that can be rebuilt.

Big Red, my son's XJ has OME springs under it. It has the DAKAR HD's in the rear and MD's in the front. It also has RE lower arms and adjustable tracbar from my trail rigs old RE 4.5 kit. When I swapped things around I also swapped shocks, I put the Nitrochargers on my trail rig and put the RE shocks on Big Red.
Big Red rode smooth with the NitroChargers but rides like butt-crack with the RE shocks. On the other hand, my trial rig rides like a caddy on the NitroChargers.
I would try some NitroCharger shocks on it before you change lift, the standard shocks are good for 0-3" lift and the extended shocks are good for 3-5" lift, that is what I have.

Love my ome coils. Nice and flexy.. they ride smooth. Had an ome steering stabilizer and really didn't tell a difference over stock but the shocks are worth the penny.
However I agree with matt. Get some nice rebuildable shocks. Or even some adjustable shocks if you want to control the feel of the ride.

we put old man emu on angie's xj, i freakin hate them superlift shocks or even stock ride better then them. i was so mad at the money we spent on them n they rode like crap. they might have changed for the better this was like 6-8 years ago but i'll never buy another set.

I had OME springs and shocks on my old YJ and also had them on my current TJ before I went long arm. The OME stuff is my favorite for smaller lifts. I also plan to swap out my current shocks with my RE springs to the OME long travels. Worth the $$ in my opinion, if not just for the shocks.

the problem with my springs isnt ride its that whenever i put anything at all on the back of the jeep such as a basket or anything that weighs over 50 pounds its sags like a slinky. I would like it to be a little stiffer back there is all but maintain a nice ride. The rustys springs are super flexy but not stick when it comes to bumpers or winch's. But for a cost / value ratio i will probably go with a rebuildable set of bilstiens.

I hear ya. The OME stuff is nice. I had their leaves on my FJ40. That was honestly the best thing on that stupid rig. You will not be dissapointed.
