Vinton Dogwood Parade Apr 25

Note: Edited to show list of definate People for Event.

Cost is $20 per 3 vehicles. We are currently registering for 9vehicles. Sean will be going to Town Office Friday to register and pay. I believe he is asking anyone who wishes to participate to throw in $6. If anyone decides to join, you can simply pay the membership due of $15 and this will cover membership and the parade. Time again is April 25th, after registration we'll have exact time and location to meet at. Thanks Everyone!

You need stock XJ springs? If so I have a set and will have another set.

I have my Cragers balanced on the inside, you will loose those outer weights on the trail.

All of my Heeps are getting washed tomorrow, they are nasty.

Glad to see your gonna make it Jon call me Friday and we sort out details on picking up the XJ. My CRozet trip Sat is a wash anyway. Kay has bronchitis and the 5 year old as well. :(

9 spots are full as of now and then some. Gonna get 12 spots reserved ,remember thats $80 out of pocket for me. Give me 6 or 7 bucks day of to cover my costs and we call it good.:thumb:

Got all the forms dropping the $ off tomorrow. Spoke with the vinton rep and she would like us to stage the rigs in the car show section before the parade as well. Seems they had a group cancel and need to fill in some space. When Kay suggested posing a few Jeeps on a wall or anything we could flex on the lady actually liked the idea!:sSc_eek2: I will never get away with that in Vinton again!:rotflmao5:

Note to self . . . hurry up and build RTI ramp. LOL

I'm questionable at best, I found out last Saturday that "Opening Day" for my base ball team is that day. So we will have opening day ceremonies at 9ish, play a game sometime that day and try to get our team pics made. So unless all of the stars line up and it works out that I can squeeze the parade in around my teams activities, then I don't know how I'm going to make it. Someone can take my place and not have to pay since I'm paid for. I don't need the money back so keep it for someone else to enter with Sean if I can't make it.

Kinda knew this was gonna happen,no biggy guys life and family come first. Iv'e got father /daughter night at Savannah's church camp at 6pm that evening so trust me I understand things coming up at the last minute.:rolleyes-1::D
So far I'm down to a rig count of 8 ,I have to reserve the spots in groups of 3 so I got one opening left if anyone wants to fill in. I haven't paid the registration fees yet so it worked out anyway. I'm going to the TOV office this thursday to pay.

Sean, I still do not know what time my game is on Saturday or when our team pics are scheduled so I can't commit yet.

What time do we meet for the parade and what time is the parade?

I will try to nail down our times and see if I can squeeze the parade in.

Parade starts at 2:30 the TOV would like everyone particpating in the staging area by 1:30.
Parade will start at RCC and wind through the streets of Vinton concluding in front of the War Memorial on Washington Ave.

I wont get line up # or location till a few days befor the parade.

If anyone needs directions etc. feel free to give me a call.
We will have a few entrants at my place before cleaning them up and talking shop.

Phillip after the parade a few will be hanging around the fairgrounds for a while then heading back to my place to hang out and talk shop. Feel free to stop by and bring the kids.

Had fun today everyone, sorry couldn't stick around, but had yard work waiting on me!

I was at the fairgrounds with the family after the parade but I didn't know who to look for. Sean, lucky looks good and the trike was awesome. It might have been me but for some reason it sounded like it was rubbing on the fenders under acceleration.

No fenders not rubbing chain was skipping. I have got it firgured out . . . . we've just had to much fun joyriding as of late to fix it correcly.:p
