Hi guys,
The wife has FINALLY agreed to let me get a little fishing boat. I've been looking daily on craigslist, kijiji, local papers, etc.
I found a jon boat, 9.5hp motor, and trailer deal I'm probably going to jump on this weekend. However, I wanted to check here to see if anyone has a small jon boat they want to get rid of, OR a 15 hp motor to upgrade the boat I'm looking at.
Let me know what you got:wings:

oh... no.. not again. Didn't it take you forever to get rid of your last one?

no, the last one was a pontoon that SHE wanted. At the time, I wanted a jon boat and she said no.
We sold it on ebay for quite a nice profit after one season {and 4 outboard motors}

Brian...I've already got a set of oars and a trolling motor...I just need a little more "oomph". I also have my grandpa's old 7.5 sears ted williams air cooled outboard. It needs a reed valve, which they don't make for this motor anymore. I'm going to try to make one, but I have my doubts about it.
Sean....I got (well, am picking up this week) a 14' sea nymph v-hull aluminum fishimg boat on a newer shorelander trailer. I paid less for the package than what the trailer costs new:rotflmao5:
