potts???

can anyone tell me if potts will be open to vehicles oct 2? opening day of bow season is saturday so dont know if the trail will be closed?

Typically it doesn't close til later on in the year when Bear Season opens up from what I rmember...

The Forest Service closes Potts Mountain Jeep Road from January 1 through March 31 to minimize weather-related road damage. Thats straight from the usda website.

Actually it closes the last day of bear season which is around the 4th - 6th.
