can anyone suggest a good place to go for a 4WD newbie? I don't want to trespass on anyone's land

The Lignite ride on Sunday will be a good one, there are bypasses at all of the mud holes. Completely stock/spouse friendly!

The Lignite run is NEXT weekend.

AND go spend $20 and buy a Virginia Atlas and Gazetter Topo map book of VA. Best $20 bucks you could spend to wheel.
Get one at most book stores, Wal Mart....I have even seen them at Sheetz.
