Anyone have experience using the harbor freight cherry pickers? Looking to buy one.. nothing on craigslist right now.

My oldest son has 1 ,it been well used , had it for 3 yrs or so no problems....

Thats what I was curious about. Didn't want to get one and have it fall apart on me under the load. Thanks fr the input.

I got one it has held up great about two years old...

I would think there isn't much to go wrong on it. Just the casters and the hydraulic cylinder. Everything else is just steel. Both easily fixable. I'd get it.

are we talking about an engine hoist? if so, i got one of the ones from HF that have the foldable legs. works well. i haven't used it on an engine yet, but i have flexed out the xj with it...

i would suggest not using the supplied bolt to secure the lifting arm in place (the piece that slides out). instead, use a hitch pin for a receiver hitch. fits perfectly and its MUCH easier to change
