Xj d44

I have a XJ Dana 44 from a 89 XJ. It is stock never moded as far as I can tell. Open 3.55s . This is a direct bolt on for all XJ's as far as I know. Drums are good, will need brakes and pinion seal.

Interested parties can PM me an offer for this rare axle. I'm not 100% selling....But I might if I hear the right number.

I might take a trade...What have ya got?

I may be in the market, but what i really think you should do is trade your 8.25 out for the D44 and sell me the 8.25....Unless i have something you may want to trade....

My 8.25 is a 27 spline with 3.55s. It does have a fresh trac loc in it but it is still a 27 spline 8.25..why would you want that?

I'm not a hard core wheeler. I dont know that I would ever get aroud to regearing and locking the 44. I'm thinking about just running the 8.25 until the trac loc craps out and getting a 29 spline at that time. And I'll toss an Aussie in the front. Run some 33s when the 32's run out. Maybe 35s. I have trimmed already. And I have some bumpstops around someplace. And I'll just run the pig till she's beat.

Ya never know.. I might have it built for me. I aint scared to change out the rear
end. But I can't rebuild a 44
