I think this would be awesome to attend, sounds like they have a bunch of clubs involved. It's almost like a free jamboree. We could even clean all day Saturday, camp out in GWNF, and wheel some more Sunday morning.

Thoughts?

I'm thinking about just doing a day trip on Sat. I'll probably take the j-truck up route 11 (she doesn't do too well at highway speeds).

I am just going for the day as well, I'll be bringing the truck and not the Jeep. The only bad thing about this that once the "Got Junk" trucks are full, its the individuals responsibility to dump the trash collected, which means pay to dump at the local land fill or bring the stuff home to your local facility. While I can take it to my local facility for free, I aint crazy about lugging a bunch a trash home... Maybe they will figure out something by then.

someone mentioned it on va krawlers site that this is meant for a trail cleanup and not a trail ride so it might be sunday that you would be able to really hit any trails for fun

Not sure of the details on this one either.

Thanks for posting this back up Brandon.:thumb:

If I've got a tow rig by then I will be bringing it and the Scrambler on Sat.

Looks like there will be a large group camping for the weekend. So those that were interested in a weekend event there ya go!

I also found out that VA4WDA is having their annual meeting that same day. It looks like I will be attending that instead of the clean-up.

After last weekends heavy rains, my crawlspace flooded with about 7 inches of standing water. Since then, I've been digging up the yard installing a french drain system to move the water in the ground away from my foundation. I also need to install a new vapor barrier on the floor and walls of the crawl space to prevent mold/mildew. I was hoping to have it dont by last night, but I've got a ways to go. Obviously, waterproofing my house takes priority over todays clean up.

If anyone does go, please take pics!
