    Here is my build thread. Some of you already know i got her form Jerry. Believe it or not i got him to part with her but it took me 3 months of begging but he sold her to me.

    Here she is when i got her and cleaned her up some.



    Big Red
    she is a 95 Grand Cherokee ZJ
    4.0L, 4sp Auto, NP231
    D30 Frnt, D35 RR
    Recovery and Protection
    Homemade diamond plait frnt bumper with some old military D-rings
    Ramsey 8,000 lb winch
    all Up Country Skids
    Lift
    3" Skyjacker w/ 1.75" Daystar pucks
    Front End
    Skyjacker lower control arms, sway bar disconects, Rock Krawler X-Factor steering, Rock Krawler track bar and bracket, Skyjacker stabilizer
    Rear End
    Skyjacker lower control arms, JKS track bar
    Performance
    K&N filter, high flow cat, Flowmaster 40 Series
    Dress Up
    painted body cladding black, painted valve cover red, red Accel wires, dash board Hula Girl, trimmed 1.25" off front wheel wells for clearance, and random trimming and clearancing with sledge hammer inside front wheel wells

    Finally adding more to rebuild the the build thread.

    The next think i did to Big Red was paint the cladding. I think red with the grey cladding is one of the most common color combos so i got tired of looking like everyone else. I also got tired of having to dress the plastic all the time too.




    I am very please with the look. the only thing i would change is to use a better paint. i have had to do touch ups frequently. i am going to pressure wash off the crappy paint and redo it this spring.

    The next thing was the valve cover. I needed to replace the valve cover gasket so i figured i would paint it. red of course.





    And it only cost 5 bucks for the can of engine paint. a lot cheaper than the 100 bucks for one of those red replacement valve covers.
