i need the help from some Craig co people! one of my buddys said he saw a road called tub run(its about half a mile or so past new castle) and he was sayin it looked like broad run. my question is is it worth drivin down? like any creek crossings or anything like that?

"The Wrangler – a stumpy, clumsy, body-on-frame clodhopper,
as hopelessly out of date as it is unbeatable off-road."
A couple of guys I grew up with always went there to hunt. We used to go to Broad Run,when you really needed 4wd, and I asked once about Tub Run and the guy I was with said it was smoother than Broad Run and you really didn't need 4wd. I know that his dad and them would load up in a old 65 Galaxie and go hunting over there. But that was back in the old days so I don't what it is like now.

I just looked at it on google maps and it looks to be a long ass road, according to the directions on Google Maps it is close to 21 Miles long. It starts just outside of New Castle and ends on State Route 632 out in the middle of nowhere. It appears to wind back and forth all through the mountains. It doesn't look like anything hard, just a curvy road.

Took a drive through tub run yesterday, not very exciting. It's 15 miles long with mile markers along it. The snow was the only interestig part of it, and some ice in a few places. There's basically no grade to most of it, no ruts to play on, and no mud in sight that I could tell. It was just a nice long ride along the back side of a mountain ending more out in the middle of nowhere than what you start. But I'm not complaining, I got to spend a couple hours in the jeep for no other reason than just to ride.
Is it a dead end or can you get back to civilization from the other end?
It leads out. http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&sour...10952&t=h&z=14
