    Default Ideas for new trails

I was reading about all these trails closing because of "mudd boggers" and started thinking, does anyone know how we could get the forest department involved to set up a few more trails for jeeps and people wanting to play? Of course there should be rules like no alcohol and staying on designated trails but even then it might help solve some of their problems and definately save money on court time and people in jail.

I'm not a member but from what I have heard scc4x4 is family oriented and I commend Y'all for that!

I'm not sure how closely SCC works with the forestry service but the other group that I am a member of locally is working on getting more trails open, and keeping the ones that are open...open! We do a trail clean-up at Potts each spring and have added the 2 new obstacles that are on the trail now.

We have a monthly meeting coming up this Wednesday evening. I'm not sure where yet but I will post it up when I find out or Howery may post up where it is at.

Pretty sure it'll be at Gander Mountain. And yes SWVA4W has had new trails opened on Potts mtn and does a great job maintaining that trail and works closely with NFS.

I'll be there, Look for a black JK or a black stokish XJ in the parking lot. My trail rig is torn apart right now or I would drive it.
