    Default Wife's (Constance) TJ

2002 Jeep TJ: She bought this jeep in 2004 Stock X model with factory subwoofer and no other options. It came 4.0/5spd. 3.07 open/posi, she bought it and we drove it to the beach the next week and got married. Then we decided to upgrade a few things. Husky liners went in and then we put in a Alpine head unit, new speakers in the sound bar and added tweeters up front. Over a couple Christmas' she got a Kilby gas tank skid plate, black grill cover, black headlight rings, delta headlights, delta foglights and a hurst short throw shifter. Then wahoojeep started upgrading and we bought a bumper and front axle from him all within a relative amount of time. Next came poision spyder rocker knockers(still need to powdercoat them), steering box skid and champion 10,000lb winch. After becoming tired of this stuff laying around the garage we put everything on the jeep except for the axle. Then spring of 08' came around and Uncle Sam came to town. I was kind of on a budget for the lift and a new rear axle but DC was going to get me good pricing. However, my money came in and he was no longer in business so I search alot more for close to the same prices but it was hard to find those good deals. We finally purchased the Rubicon Express 5.5 long arm kit, AA sye, and rear D44 with ARB and disc brakes. While waiting on the lift to come in we found some wheels we liked more than the moabs we had laying in the garage and scored 4 35" nitto mud grapplers for $400. We finally had all the pieces for the next step. We took several days off work and over a long 3 day weekend the father in law, wife and myself transformed the jeep into what is now.
Specs now: 4.0 stock, nv3500 stock, np231 stock with AA sye, D30(chromo shafts 4:88 gears, detriot tru-trac and rockcrusher cover),D44(chromo shafts 4:88 gears, ARB, disc brake conversion, ARB cover), optima battery, champion 10,000lb winch, AFW front bumper, warn rear bumper with tire carrier and some poison spyder stuff. Alot of the stuff we bought was from people changing their stuff(bumpers, wheels, tires, front axle) I begged wahoojeep to sell me the axles that HokiesZJ got before I bought my rear axle but he said he wasn't going to upgrade for a while( I think we've all said that before ) Sorry for the long and boring build thread but its my first one. Now for some pics.

Yup, definitely a good looking tj. My neighbors had good comments on it last year when you brought it over on the trailer that night on your way home from your father in laws garage.
