Thanks Michelle!
Any luck with the trail designation #'s we talked about yet?
I will start digging into this tonight when I get home.

Help,
We need everyone to comment on the plan revision.
Go to the forest service link below and fill out the forms, write down every trail that should be kept open, get a map and note the FR number or name, not what you know it as.
Say you want more high clearance technical challenges added to existing road structure. The addition of these challenges would alleviate the illegal activity. It would also help to enforce the present structure to handle increase traffic needs.
How Wilderness ties the hands of F.S. management.
If you can think of specific areas where you would like to see something write it down.
Do some research and comment please. They have maps up for download, the plan and the comments are there. You just have to spend a little time and dig them up.
PLEASE DO THIS NOW, DON’T WAIT.
Also, post it up on every web site you can. The more good comments the better.

Yes! I beleive the #'s they are looking for are on the maps that I posted a link for. From what it looks like, there are a lot of trails out there that I dont think many people are aware of. I see lots of trail exploration in the future!

Im a little confused by that map??? So the things that are marked as roads open to highway only. are those trails or actually just roads? Can someone point out an actual trail on there for me so i know what im looking for. Thanks.
I am still trying to figure it out as well. Some one correct me if I am wrong, but the roads we should be looking for are the first 3 on the legend. For example map # 34 is Potts. I think the road number is 5036 (not sure though) but I do know that road #176 takes you to upper end of Potts trail. The roads like 311 would be the last one on the legend "other public roads". Some of these are also fireroads, which can be just as fun.
Anyone have any other ideas?

Getting in touch with someone that can help us decifer this mess. As soon as I get some info I will pass it along and i would like everyone to post that info on every site you visit.
The more we help others in the 4x4 community to keep ALL of our trails open the better we all are for it.
Thanks
