Hadn't had a chance to touch it much the past couple of months cause i've been spending all my time and enerygy in my wifes cherokee. BUT we did get my fathers 200 amp miller welder working so soon enough I will start on it some more.
Love the 4Runner.....I definitely miss mine....but i have moved on to the XJ.....
That thing is going to look sweet with the SAS....

Welding classes are still going good. I've learned a few different beads to run, the best way to fill gaps. Pretty much all the essentials.

Thanks. It'll be nice to finally get to drive it again.. but I still have some work cut out for me. Still have a list of things to do before I go get it inspected again.
- new battery
- 35-37 inch tires
- ome coil springs for the rear
- make new control arms
- custom panhard bar
- make a front driveshaft
- plus I still have a few things to finish up on the sas
What year is the rodeo? I have a friend who lifted a rodeo a while back on a budget i'll ask him what he used. When you do start looking at the kits it does get expensive.
What year range and models where the E-lockers offered in? Looking into new project and need some Yota info.
Thanks

98-02(i think) 4runner limiteds(optional)
96+ tacoma trd edition(came standard)
and some of the fj80 landcruisers & lx450's came with them as well.
They are not direct bolt ons but it is simple enough to do.. you gotta cut a notch out of the axle housing where the locker actuator sits and drill and tap one or two holes for longer studs. The yota solid front axle uses the same diff so you can use them in the front or rear if you get something with a sfa.
Come on over to the dark side. :![]()
