    Default Lignite Update!!

I talked with a ranger today about seeing what we could do as a club to get this trail reopened. I told her that we were ready take the next step and if not "adopt" it at least help maintain it. She said there was a lot of resource damage and people were running through the creeks there and the only way to protect it was to shut the gate. We will not know when its going to reopen until September sometime when they have the next meeting but she did say that the gates are not closed forever.

I told her we had strong membership and a lot of active members but what would be awesome is if you guys could post in here to kinda say hey i want to help, because if we get permission to adopt of help out with lignite we are gonna take it. Its not the most challenging trail out there but its a fun one and one that i don't want to see closed. If your willing to donate your time to help keep this trail open (cleanups, marking the trail, or whatever needs to be done) please post in this thread.

    Thanks,

    Matt

Yup, you're right. Mill creek is Lignite, Patterson is up and over.
