    Default 1966 f-100

This isn't a 4Wd truck, but it sure is rare and has alot of sentimental value. It belonged to a good friend of mine who passed away last summer. He was no newbie to restoration like me. Anyway as it turned out I am the new owner of this beast and I plan on having her on the road ASAP. Here's some pics...

As you can see he has the cab ready to go. I'm gonna sand and paint the frame

I've got the fenders ready for paint now. Mostly just dents, no real bad rust in this truck!

I got the 390 turned over sounds good. Hard to believe seeing how it's original. stay tuned...

Let me know when you want to tinker on that 390... That's my specialty! I love old vechicles... Especially Fords! What are your plans for it pal?

I used to work in a resto shop. I don't think I'd want to do it. Props to ya. Have fun with it.

I got my lovely bride to help with re-surfacing the frame, we had a blast!

Brandon was down to lend a hand too>>>

My camera broke so I can't show you but all this is finished and painted now. I even did the twin I beams underneath , coils, arms everything. It;s all gloss black now.

    Here's the 390>>

9" rearend with plenty of leaves to clear those 33''s back there lol>>

Next we're gonna take the bed off and do the under neath of it and the remainig rear frame. Then we bolt it all back together and get her on the road! Paintjob will probly be last.

JT, I think the engine is okay but I need to probly @lest clean the heads. It's been sittin with no valvecover caps for who knows how long. What do u recomend ?
