Kinda cool. Something different. can you post a picture of it opened. The only hting that I don't like the the latch. I'd hit that on rocks and open it.

the latch has a safety pin that goes around the latch and keeps it from opening but I don't have it on in these pictures. I will take some pictures of it open when I get it back from the dealership.

What is the design logic for having it pivot on the opposite side asa the door?

Is the tire held in only by the strap?

    Looks nice.

I'm not exactly sure what the logic is. It makes a good changing area though. The same exact bumper works with jk's, tj's, and yj's.

The strap is the only thing that holds it. The strap is rated at more than 1000 lbs breaking force. It makes it a whole lot easier because all you have to do is throw the tire into the basket and strap it down, no lining up lug holes or anything and you don't have to worry about any squeaking because all it is is the strap. I personally love it and I got it shipped to my door for 500 dollars.

Kind of different I like it. I don't like that latch. I'd rip that off my 1st 15 minutes of wheeling. Other than that I really like it.
