I just scored a deal of a lifetime in my opinion, a 1962 Ford Falcon Futura, 2door sedan, bucket seats, console. Car is complete minus engine/trans and front bumper, but comes with a ton of spare parts. Only major rust is in the driver's side toeboard and start of the floor pan. Still in the factory paint (what wasn't sanded off by previous owner) original upholstery, except for the rear seat bottom(has been completely removed) Car also comes with a Mustang II IFS swap up front, it needs to be redone, as I don't trust buying 2nd hand projects where someone else did the work, and plus the welds are beyond hideous and i don't trust their strength, as they're globbed ontop of eachother. I had originally planned on shoe-horning my 390 and C6 into it, but some afterthought, even with the shock towers removed, I'd be too wide to run power brake setup. Here's my current plans.
- Ford Kona Blue Metallic exterior
- Black interior (reproduction)
- Subframe Connectors
- Custom Roll bar and/or complete cage
- 302/C4 combo(for time being)
- 8.8" rear, locker 4.10 gears, C-clip eliminator
- Mini-tub Rear

Not really too much work. I'm in middle of my dad's 62 Galaxie which is alot more work than this car will require. I already have motor w/ brand new C4. Future plans include building stroker small block. But this project won't get started on til later this year. Need to finish my dad's Galaxie and my Jeep.

Would love to see it Kevin, give me a shout bro want to see that F100 too! As for motor... I'm currently conjuring up specs & plans on a roughly 400-450HP small block. Most of my money will go towards engine build up and rear suspension upgrades. I'm really leaning towards a 4link rear with some QA1 coilovers & may upgrade the M2 setup with coilovers. My mind is like a jungle...I tend to get lost so please forgive me LOL.
